I love the cherry plate, it was an idea I had with some new sponge brushes I got in a giant pack from Amazon. The vase with the leaf came out way better than the flop of a plate with the leaf. Everything else is gearing up for fall shows.
I feel like I've done nothing but glaze recently, but also I've done nothing but work and glaze recently. The plate is really disappointing. I used Mayco matte clear and apparently the instructions were not correct. The bottle says 2-3 coats, but now that I've seen this and done some research people say 1 thin coat. I have another plate I did the same that I'm going to wipe down and start over with.
I do really like the vase which has milk glass on it the top instead of the clear.
Everything with the leaves turned out amazing. I think I need to make some mugs with this color scheme at some point.
The dreidel crabs came out amazing. I think those are going to make some people who celebrate across holidays very happy. I definitely think I need one of these.
I love how my chickens came out! I'm going to need help wiring them up, but I can't wait.
My test mugs came through with a few new textures. I think that the roses and the ghosts are going to be really popular, we shall see but I really love them.
July is apparently glaze month and I've got more coming!
