Yesterday I was out in the garden all afternoon. After 2 weekends away the weeds had tried to take over. One thing that it took me a few to identify was something I hadn't seen before. This winter we put out a squirrel feeder with peanuts. Well the squirrels buried a bunch in the planters and yard.
Did a bisque firing this weekend too. Bunch of things in there that are exciting including the egg tray and my first planter.
Had some trouble loading my first pumpkins into the kiln. I snapped off the curly vines on the biggest and liters. Going to make it work.
On my first plane trip since covid began. It is very hot and I am sweating in this mask. Luckily it's a very short flight.
The lilies are in full bloom, including the ones I've been using as greenery backdrop for a lot of my recent pots.
Used my new puzzle spheres. I started making this bowl.
And I had some extra coils so I picked up one of the small spheres. Then I had some more extra so I started another one then I couldn't finish so I filled the gun back up. Then all of a sudden I have 5 spheres and eggs and it's way past my bedtime. Really happy with the results though.
Collected a bunch of leaves last week in Chaumont. Started to make some things with them.

As always we didn't get nearly as much done in Chaumont as we wanted to. It was great to be up there and we will be back in a few weeks.
Stopped at Clayscapes pottery on the way home and picked up glazes. One of my projects this week will be to mix them up.
The dogs were less appreciative of the box when we blew a tire on the way home and they had to share the back seat for the last half hour.
Yesterday I made damp boxes. Can't wait to start using them.
Also started putting some of the leaves I collected in Chaumont to good use. Plates and spoon rests drying now.
While we were away I finally got my new forms from Michael ajar ridge. Started on the rest of the pieces for my garden stack including these two fishies.
