This kiln is almost entirely full of lavender work. I harvested a bunch before the summer heat kicked in and froze it until I was ready to use it. It doesn’t work with all flowers and leaves, but I’ve found that lavender holds up really well in the freezer for a long time.

My piece from the Sarah Gromek workshop is right there in the middle. I love the yellow inside!

I’m always amazed by my leaf pieces. They somehow always look like they’re defying gravity.
