I honestly don’t know why the idea of making crochet flowers popped into my head, but once it did, I couldn’t stop myself. So naturally, I started making them. The patterns I am using are coming from HookOK.

Of course, I had to start with the sunflower because apparently I like making things difficult for myself. It’s definitely the most complicated and time consuming of this bunch, but I’m really enjoying figuring out how all the different pieces come together.

I’m making these entirely from the leftover yarn from the baby blankets I made, which means I don’t necessarily have all the colors I’d choose if I were planning this project from scratch. I’m definitely working with what I have!



This is one of those projects that started as a random little idea and has quickly become “well…now I need to make ALL the flowers.”
