I decided that I wanted to make some smaller more ice cream/cereal type bowls so I scaled down my previous templates (mostly the height). I made four new templates to try out. I'm learning that I like the templates where the top diameter and bottom diameter are off by 1-2 inches, but not more. Also it's fascinating how the diameter on the bottom changes in clay. Very often I find that the bottom is 1/2-1 inch bigger than it says on the template. It's like pi doens't apply, or more likely, the clay stretches :) I've listed the sizes and how I got the texture on each.
